Role Overview
We are looking for a Technical Recruiter who can own the full candidate journey for senior engineering roles. You will use our job descriptions (JDs) to identify and engage strong developers, run structured interviews (including recorded video sessions), filter for fit and quality, and present a shortlist to our internal hiring team and stakeholders.
What You Will Do
- Sourcing: Find and attract senior developers aligned with each provided JD (stack, seniority, domain).
- Screening: Conduct phone and video screens; assess communication, motivation, and baseline technical fit.
- Recorded interviews: Lead or coordinate technical interviews as agreed; ensure sessions are recorded where required for review and quality assurance.
- Filtering: Score candidates against JD criteria; document evidence (notes, recordings links where applicable) and reject or advance with clear rationale.
- Delivery to the company: Package shortlisted profiles with summaries, interview outcomes, and recommendations for hiring managers.
- Pipeline hygiene: Maintain accurate status in our tracking process; communicate timelines and feedback professionally.
Must-Have Experience
- 2+ years recruiting for software engineering roles, including senior individual contributors.
- Comfort discussing technical topics (APIs, cloud, languages, system design at a high level).
- Experience running or supporting structured interviews and documenting outcomes.
- Ability to work with recorded video interviews and share securely with internal reviewers.
- Excellent written English for candidate write-ups and stakeholder updates.
Nice to Have
- Experience hiring for AI/ML, backend, or platform engineering roles.
- Familiarity with applicant tracking systems and async hiring workflows.
- Prior agency or high-growth product company recruiting experience.
